   The Mandan Art Association is a non-profit organization which has been in existence since 1958.  It was started by a dedicated group of artists and art lovers who wanted to share their interest in art with Mandan and the surrounding area.

    The MAA mission is to promote art appreciation and support for the arts and to provide a showcase for artists to share their talent with people of all ages in Mandan and the surrounding upper Midwest area.

    During our 50 year history, we have sponsored an annual spring art show for all artists - students and adults. In April, 2008 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary show.  In July, 2008 we expanded our horizons to open a small gallery and gift shop at 411 West Main Street in Mandan.  This gallery is available to members of the Mandan Art Association for displaying their art throughout the year and also for demonstrations, lessons and special events.

   Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.

Stop in and see the wonderful art created by our members.  We currently have 25 members displaying their work in the gallery and the gift shop area.

Becoming a Member

    All artists are invited to join the association and become involved in our spring show.  Not an artist but want to be involved in the arts?  Join as an supporting member.  Membership dues are $15.00 per year for artists and supporting members. Non-profit organizations may also join as associate members for an annual membership fee of $20.00. Access the membership form on the "forms" page to download the form.

    The association meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the conference room at the MAA Gallery at 411 West Main Street, Mandan, at 7:00 p.m.  The meetings are open to the public.  All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

    The Annual meeting for election of officers is held in May of each year.  All officers are elected for two year terms, with the exception of the 2nd Vice President which is a one year term.  

Becoming a Show Sponsor or Gallery Donor

    Support our show by becoming a show sponsor.  Sponsors will receive a certificate of appreciation suitable for framing.  All donations are tax deductible.

   Support our gallery by becoming a gallery donor.  Donors will receive a framed certificate of appreciation.  Donations are tax deductible.

Annual donor:        Gallery donor  -  ($100.00 to 499.00)

                                Gallery Silver donor  -  ($500.00 to 999.00)

                                Gallery Gold donor  -   (over $1,000.00)

In appreciation of your support for our gallery, all donors may select a piece of art on display at the gallery and gift shop which is priced at up to ten (10) percent of the amount of your donation.

All donors will have their name listed on the donor board which will be posted at the gallery.
